The F5 Series is an ideal choice for institutional applications such as neighborhood parks, municipalities, school playgrounds, and anywhere else an adjustable system is not desired or needed. The fixed system was designed with safety in mind with a uniquely angled 5’ extension arm that allows for the maximum safe-play area minimizing any potential contact with the extension mount.
Rectangular Steel 42″ x 60″ Backboard
The durable 42”x 60” rectangular steel backboard has a 12 gauge steel shell with a white powder coat finish and an orange printed target and border. Board has an integral reinforced steel channel on the reverse side for mounting and increased board support.
Pressure Flex Breakaway Goal
The stress of heavy, unsupervised play and aggressive dunks are no match for Douglas F5 Basketball Systems’ durability and performance. Constructed of robust steel with a CSPC-compliant powder-coat finish and featuring a 5/8” thick, 18” steel rim, and a double spring pressure flex breakaway mechanism, our recreational breakaway goal attaches to the MAX clear view backboard and directly to the extension arm. Featuring unique hidden net attachment style hooks along the inside of the hoop, our pressure breakaway goal will withstand the weight of even the most aggressive slam dunks. You better believe it.
5′ Fixed Extension Arm
The Douglas F5 fixed extension arm overhangs 5’ providing stability, strength and extra room for lay-ups and fast competitive play. The unique extension mount is angled and completely out of the play area minimizing any potential contact with the extension mount. The corrosion-resistant 5” x 5” reinforced extension arm attaches to the base of the backboard and to the outer perimeter of the frame allowing for the preferred “clear view” style. Upper brace arms are provided for maximum stability.
Galvanized Steel Pole
Constructed from 6” square galvanized steel with a 3/16” wall thickness, the Douglas F5 System is built to handle rugged play in the toughest conditions. Through decades of design and testing, we have manufactured our one-piece construction galvanized steel pole, equipped with double welded base gussets, with the optimal specifications to minimize shake and vibration. Every steel pole is finished in an attractive black acrylic powder coat to prevent chipping, rusting, and corrosion in virtually any environment from coast to coast. For increased aesthetic appeal and to keep our players safe and free from injury, we have included a durable 2” thick fitted pole and base pad with every Douglas F5 Basketball System. Rest assured, your MVPs are protected.
Protective Padding
Form fitted pole and base padding are manufactured with durable black all-weather vinyl that is UV and all-weather resistant. Dense foam padding is 2” thick for maximum impact protection. Padding secures in the back with sewn-in overlapping velcro straps. Sleek, molded vinyl backboard padding offers maximum player protection while not interfering with gameplay. Backboard padding is pre-installed for your convenience.
Easiest Installation Process
A robust anchor system allows for easy and accurate leveling during installation. All systems are set in a structurally sound 4’ deep concrete footing providing a safe and steady base you can trust. Not only are our bolts and base completely covered for player safety, but our J-bolt anchor system also permits you to dismount your basketball system and move to a new location – all you will have to do is install a new anchor system at the new location. If an order is placed on a product that is listed as back-ordered (or is advised), our protocol is to charge the customer's credit card or PayPal account. In order to have more control over this unfortunate fulfillment delay, we must process your payment when your order is placed to prevent:
- Undesired delays in receipt of your product by you until proper information can be provided by you to us because of unintentional change of payment information.
- Intentional attempts at fraudulent receipt of products by way of purposely providing false payment information.
- Collecting and handling of your sensitive financial information through a delayed date of order fulfillment and shipment. Our strict internal controls are in place to limit impressions or realities of fraud, and we make every effort to not, at any point, be in possession of your sensitive financial information.
Therefore we do this to avoid costly and frustrating postponements, cancellations, rerouting, and in some cases unfortunate fraudulent receipt of shipments. This usually happens due to intentional or unintentionally submitted false payment information. Therefore, this back-order protocol has been put in place to limit unnecessary and excessive costs of doing business, which allows us to keep our prices lower for you, our customer. Thank you for your patience and understanding with any back-order you may place with us.
While Waiting...
If you placed a back-order and you did not intend to do so, you may do the following:
- Review other comparable products on our site for purchase in place of your current order. If you would like to modify your order, please place a new order and contact us immediately after so we can refund your original order.
- If your order has not already shipped, we can cancel and refund your order in full after a brief period of confirming the order cancellation with the manufacturer. You can e-mail us at support@gosportsequip.com with your cancellation request. You may also request inventory availability so a new order can be placed when the item becomes available.
- Please wait a minimum of four (4) business days for your credit card company to post the credit.
Please note, that unless we are advised by you in a written email reply indicating either of the above two options prior to shipment, we will assume that you want to keep your present order in place until the product is available to ship (requiring no post-order response from you). We will continue to diligently work on your behalf with the manufacturer to fulfill your order as soon as possible and advise on freight and tracking information when it is made available to us.
Lastly, all ETA's are subject to change. Go Sports Equip does not and cannot control any timeline regarding orders due to us solely being an Authorized Dealer of each of the brands we sell, not the brand/manufacturer of the products ourselves.
All In-Stock orders ship out from our warehouses within 1-3 Business Days.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
As soon as your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. (If you do not, please contact us and a representative can send over the digital receipt of your purchase). This confirms your order has been received in our system and your credit card is authorized for purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we begin processing to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will reach out to you via e-mail to confirm if you'd like to keep your order or cancel for a full refund. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
ORDER SHIPMENT
Please reference your product page specific lead times. After shipment, items will arrive in 5-10 business days after order has been shipped out.
Certain items due to high demand and low supply can only be placed on back order at specific times. Please contact customer service to hear about any items availability.
Please contact us for rush shipping rates and options. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. Large items that ship via freight (not UPS or Fedex) require a signature
upon delivery. You will receive a call from the shipping company to arrange
a time and day for delivery that works for you.
PRODUCT QUALITY GUARANTEE
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should contact us IMMEDIATELY. If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please contact us immediately within 48 Hours of delivery and send photos to support@gosportsequip.com We will process an insurance claim on your behalf and happily work with you to resolve the issue or replace your order.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Generally, most of the items we carry can be returned within 30 days of
receipt in new condition and unopened.
Returned products must be sent back with their original packaging and have all of the parts and components that they came with. Please contact the manufacturer for any warranty issues.
If there is a damage in the product, the customer is not responsible for the shipping costs and restocking fees that apply for the return.
Customer remorse: If there is no damage to the product, the customer will be responsible of paying for shipping and restocking fees. The customer will be given a refund of the remaining balance.
Please document (photograph) any damages upon receiving the item and report these damages to the delivery carrier if product was sent by LTL or freight (not by UPS, Fedex, USPS, etc).
Some items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Customer is responsible for return shipping and original shipping cost, even if the item was "free shipping". Any damages to products may void the return.
Returns must be accompanied with an RMA number. Please contact us in order to have one generated.

As stated in the Product Quality Guarantee, any item that arrives in less than perfect condition or missing parts will be handled at no extra
cost. Refunds will be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing
